Raisin Chess Pie

One 9-in. Unbaked Pie Shell
1 Cup Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
3 Eggs
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
1 1/2 Cup Chopped Raisins
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract


Cream butter, sugar and salt thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in walnuts, raisins and vanilla. Turn into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325°F and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer.
